Track 8 from his second album “David Bowie” released in 1969 copyright Mercury Records. It was ahead of its time for ’69 and fell flat when initially released, so it was reissued in ’72 after the success of “Ziggy.” The cover of the ’72 reissue featured an updated portrait of the artist, and reached No. 16 on the Billboard chart.
