For years, yours truly kept a light on in the window hoping that Alice Russell would come by to belt out a song. If you keep your candle burning bright, wishes do come true. Accompanied by violinist Mike Simmonds, Alice sang a samaritan’s song – letting us all know that she’ll keep her light on for those that cannot find their way. Soulful in both melody and message, Alice made YT’s backyard feel like a little slice of heaven.
